Sandra is a retired Aer Lingus hostess having spent 20 years flying all over Europe and the USA. During that time, her love of fashion and style grew and developed as she spent many of her spare hours browsing the fashion centres of New York, Boston, Chicago, Rome, Paris and London. Now a happily-married mother of 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren with a 7th due later in 2026, Sandra spends her retirement years with her husband between their homes in Howth in Dublin and Sotogrande in southern Spain. She loves golf and tries to play 2 or 3 times per week as well as maintaining her health and fitness with twice weekly sessions in the gym.
Sandra has been an active user of Instagram for the past few years having been convinced by her daughter, Vogue, that there was a growing audience for her sense of timeless style combined with her great eye for colour and coordinating outfits. She is a strong believer in the principle of wearing clothes that you like and that compliment your figure and outlook, regardless of age. She dislikes the idea of the more mature woman being labelled as past the age of concern when it comes to fashion and encourages her more than 54,000 Instagram followers to be brave and “think outside the box” when it comes to buying and wearing clothes. Sandra loves to put together outfits that she sources in the High Street retailers as well as the more “up-market” specialist couturier houses.
She loves mixing and matching her old with her new clothes and creating new outfits that emphasise the timeless nature of good quality and well-designed fashion. Sandra is synonymous with her love of hats that she inevitably uses to enhance and finish off an outfit.
