Eimear Brazil is a trained chef from Waterford, Ireland, who spent most of her career in Canada working as a head chef, operations chef, F&B manager and food stylist. In May 2025, she launched The Kitchen Shift to share simple, from-scratch cooking that feels achievable for everyone, focusing on practical recipes, kitchen confidence, and tips that make home cooking feel less overwhelming and more enjoyable.
After moving home to Waterford in late 2025, Eimear’s content grew to include weekly grocery hauls, weekly menus, and from-scratch recipes that help people feel more confident in the kitchen and get organised with food at home. Her focus is on supporting Irish local suppliers, growers, and producers – shining a light on the incredible businesses within communities and making it easier for people to shop local.
Since returning to Ireland, Eimear has built a highly engaged audience and has gained over 350,000 followers across her social media platforms (instagram, tiktok, facebook and youtube) built on trust, relatability, and real-life cooking that’s approachable for all.
