Paddy Smyth first came to prominence as the breakout star of First Dates Ireland back in 2017. He has since created a sizeable loyal audience in Ireland and overseas. He is a presenter, media commentator, influencer, and disability rights activist with Cerebral Palsy. He won the 2019 series of The Circle on Channel 4 and presented The Fitting Room on RTE2 in the same year. He also appeared on Celebrity Pulling With My Parents on RTE2.in 2021 -. His down-to-earth honesty and powerful messaging have seen him front social media campaigns for a range of brands such as Science Foundation Ireland, Domino’s Pizza, Primark, Kiehl’s, Amazon Prime, Bumble, and Disney+(to name a few). Most recently, Paddy was hand-picked by the renowned BBC as a Creator in residence and is currently working with them to develop and create his own television ideas with their guidance and backing.
