Hailing from Baile Átha Cliath, broadcaster Síomha Ní Ruairc wears many hats. In 2018, she was asked to screentest for TG4 and found her way into the wild world of media. She presents a yearly family talent show for the Irish language channel, and has since broadened her horizons to other national stations. Last year she fronted Virgin Media’s smash hit Grá ar an Trá, and can be seen every weekend presenting Ireland AM. Her bilingual podcast How To Gael, which she presents with two other TG4 presenters, has shot to the top of the Irish charts of late. Síomha is an avid advocate for language rights, feminism and sustainability – especially through her TV wardrobe.
