William is an artist and food lover. An upbringing centred on foraging, cooking, baking and fishing in Co. Cork inspired his lifelong passion for food. After completing a degree in Fine Art at Limerick College of Art & Design, William went on to study cooking at the world-renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School.
Since completing his studies in both art and cooking, William has pursued these dual interests in every way possible. In 2015, he co-founded the food business Currabinny with his partner in life and business, James. William specialises in creating delicious recipes that celebrate Ireland’s rich food heritage, and he also has a deep love for writing about food.
William is also a successful podcaster. He co-hosts The Simpler Life with his partner James, where they share conversations around food, home and living well.
